After almost a year in this cute little apartment outside Atlanta, we're moving again. The complex upped our rent almost $250 a month and now it's not just cost effective to live here anymore. That means we're off on another adventure at the end of May.
Moving sucks. It's hard enough as a couple who've amassed 13+ years of belongings. It's harder when you have 3 cats (one of them diabetic that pisses everywhere when frightened) and a dog (who is honestly pretty good at travelling). Securing movers for our stuff, towers for our electric car, and time off from Day Jobs to actually move are all daunting, exhausting tasks. But we've moved so many times during our marriage that we're old pros at it. That doesn't make it easier, but it means we at least know what we're doing.
So where are we moving? Not sure yet. Still have to find a place. We've given our current place 60 days' notice so we don't have to pay the exorbitant monthly rent past our lease expiry. We have nothing packed yet and probably won't until we know where we are going. But our life was, is, and will always be an adventure. We're excited for the next memories.
